What should I expect during my first massage session?

When you arrive for your first visit, you will fill out a health history form, and then your therapist will do an assessment to help create a more efficient treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. You will be guided on how to position yourself on the massage table and areas that will be focused on during the session. During the massage your therapist will check in with you about the pressure level. Don’t be afraid to ask for more or less pressure, this is your massage!

What forms of payment do you accept?

Can I use insurance?

We do not offer direct billing. However, yes you can still use insurance by submitting the insurance claim yourself. You will have to pay for the appointment in full and you will receive a receipt with all the information you need to submit your claim to the insurance company.

Do you use essential oils?

There is the option to use essential oils during your massage at no additional cost. The options are lavender, peppermint, and eucalyptus.

Is it necessary to undress completely for the massage?

Undressing is entirely up to your comfort level. Most clients undress to their underwear, but you can choose what makes you most comfortable. You will be properly draped at all times to protect your privacy.

Homecare tips after a massage?

After a massage it’s beneficial to hydrate well and avoid strenuous activities for a few hours. Using heat such as an epsom salt bath is great to continue the relaxation process and soothe any soreness. You will also get stretches/exercises to do on your own between visits.
